Chapter News & Events
Demographic changes, competing interests and shifts in popular American culture have all contributed to the decline in participation rates in hunting and fishing. To address these trends, Linn County Pheasants Forever has projects around the national R3 movement. R3 = recruitment, retention and reactivation of hunters, anglers and shooting sports participants.
We hosted our first R3 Women in the Outdoors workshop in 2019, and in 2020 we hosted a small group pheasant hunting at Legacy Acres in Parnell, Iowa stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for additional events. Click here to learn more about R3.
Linn County PF at 2023 Annual Banquet
The Linn County Pheasants Forever would like to thank you for your involvement. Your support has assisted our organization with conservation of habitat through projects, public awareness, youth and adult education as well as involvement in land management policies and programs.
Education and Outreach!
Linn County PF and our members help to educate others in the outdoors and provide mentors to carry skills to the next generation of conservationists.
In order for our chapter to continue with our education and outreach, it is necessary for us to raise means to support. We welcome sponsorship at any time of the year. Consider attending our next annual banquet, which is our group's primary fundraiser.
